Poetry Slam

A poetry slam is the poetry contest of our time and turns poetry into an experience. At the same time, it is also a platform for everyone—you just have to dare to take part. The audience is right in the middle of it instead of just watching, and their applause determines the outcome of the competition. Aids such as instruments or costumes are prohibited. Shouting, whispering, howling, gasping, whistling, rapping – all of this is allowed in order to compete against each other. The weapons: poetry, voice, and body.
